Anirudh's dream

This has been dictated to me by Anirudh. He had this really beautiful dream and the next morning he vividly remembered the dream and he described it to us. Want to share it.

"I woke up one day in the morning. I could not hear a sound. I went to the dining room and saw ALL my friends there. They said "Hi Anirudh". Then I saw someone else. He was not my friend. He looked like a teacher. He was Count Olaf from the movie Lemony Snickets A Series of Unfortunate Events. He was passing out today's homework. Then he said hello and passed out a sheet of the homework to me. I looked at it. Today's homework was about two-headed king cobras. On the backside you had to write about leeches. You had to bring in a leech. Then I thought that leeches can kill you. Then I thought how to bring in a leech. Then Count Olaf passed out another sheet which was yesterday's homework. Yesterday's homework was about going to Count Olaf's house and go across a lake full of leeches and then write about Cornel Cave. So we went to Count Olaf's house and we had to go to the reptile room first.

Snow storm in Boston

The snow has started here and there is about 6-12'' predicted in the next 2 days. It is ##%#@ cold here. This morning the temperature was zero degrees F. that is way too too cold my friends. Dunno how we're going to survive this cold.
And to think we nearly decided to move to LA. Warm sunny weather vs cold frigid weather. Seems an obvious choice. But nothing is as obvious as it seems.

I am becoming a big fan of this blog thing. Want to share everything with everyone else. Wonder who's going to be ready to read about my thoughts (a.k.a crap).

Anyways I was just listening to a song from Gharonda, "Do Dewane Sheher Mein". lovely song.

Rowdy Vikram

We never realised how different our three sons would be in nature. Anirudh would get upset even if someone used a stern tone to talk to him. He would be very possesive about his things and would be very careful with his toys. Aditya was different than that. He would not care about what we told him or how we told him. He had this "I don't care" attitude. Vikram is so different than the other two. He's got this violent streak to him. Poor Meenu has been bitten so many times by him. So she dishes it out equally to him. But he just does not seem to care. He throws his toys around, tears up books that Anirudh and Aditya have read and preserved so carefully for so many years.
In fact when the shastrigal came to our place for Vikram's ayushyahomam, he jokingly called Vikram "Rowdy Ranga" for all his antics.
But then he surprised us all recently when he was so receptive to the kids potty. For the past 10 days, we've regularly used the kids potty with Vikram to do his "thing".

Aditya and the Prestige pressure cooker

My second son Aditya (oh what a charming snile he has) has this funny habit. whenever we're cooking rice or dal in the pressure cooker, he places both this hands on his ears trying to shut out the pressure cooker whistle. He then comes to my Meenu and repeatedly says "pussss vendam" in tamil.
